FC Kurdistan's Lars Bammerman got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radamel Oakley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alaaddin Solskjær having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radamel Oakley in the 19th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Levander in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Markus Wallman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Kurdistan's Ubaldo Ritchie was substituted for Jörgen Levander. 66 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Sundström came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Surahammar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Surahammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Sundström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. FC Kurdistan's Carlos-Alberto Bayona quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mark Brovall, made in the 90th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Folke Skröder got a free kick in the 90th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
