The Samurai fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Samurai's Maxim Tsigalko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Samurai's Vince Di Cola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Samurai from getting a goal against them. When Pepe Argento came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Lost Boys Sports Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pepe Argento couldn't finish the play. Samurai's Vince Di Cola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Samurai from getting a goal against them. Maxim Tsigalko might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Drago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxim Tsigalko ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivan Drago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Tsigalko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pepe Argento might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vince Di Cola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pepe Argento ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pepe Argento. In the 29th minute Timmy Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Drago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Henriksson came free, but Ivan Drago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samurai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Pepe Argento scored to the left of an out of position Vince Di Cola, making the score, 1-2. In the 45th minute Maxim Tsigalko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Drago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Ivan Drago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxim Tsigalko got free with Ivan Drago in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Drago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wu Qi's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esbjörn Hultstrand in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Drago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Lost Boys Sports Academy defense, Wu Qi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Drago. The Lost Boys Sports Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Drago should have stopped the shot. Samurai's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
