Marcus Ekrot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund was substituted for Martin Mutumba. When Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marcus Ekrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Käller went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Stål didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Arne Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Sebastian Käller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Marcus Ekrot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Arne Haglund was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 57th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Käller in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Ekrot saved Vykans Vikingar from getting behind. Vykans Vikingar's attentive Börje Stål managed to snatch the ball when Tonhão Rodrigues made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 68th minute of play. Wilhelm Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Revis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcus Ekrot stood somewhat misplaced when Sebastian Käller came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 73 minute. A sloppy throw-in by Börje Stål in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kind of Blue's Tonhão Rodrigues. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vykans Vikingar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joacim Hansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Kind of Blue's players had a chance to rest. If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vykans Vikingar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Sebastian Käller scored to the left of an out of position Marcus Ekrot, making the score, 0-6. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Käller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Ekrot was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Sebastian Käller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The Vykans Vikingar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kind of Blue's performance. The match ended with a win for Kind of Blue.
