Loco Durazno might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magne Gunnarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loco Durazno ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Golden Lions FC defense, Henry Fagerberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Lundqvist. The Golden Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. Mats Nyströms short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Magne Gunnarsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bebben Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Gunnarsson having to interfere. Edwin Ahlstedt got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sigvard Biörnberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Durazno in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Gunnarsson saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. Magne Gunnarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loco Durazno's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Magne Gunnarsson made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mats Nyström sent off a good shot on target. Igor Dzierwa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Per Stenberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anders Lundqvist. Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Per Tunström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rönnöfors FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hazım Tuğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loco Durazno to make the kick off. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Golden Lions FC. Hazım Tuğlu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Magne Gunnarsson. 1-2. Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Torsten Åman replaced Wiktor Dahlman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 75th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Larpe in the 77th minute of the match. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torsten Åman couldn't finish the play. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burç Tokhan in the 99th minute of play. The Rönnöfors FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
