Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel Oakley in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radamel Oakley in the 7th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Wahlnäs came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Surahammar's Radamel Oakley. But to his dismay, Radamel Oakley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Radamel Oakley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Olov Wahlnäs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Radamel Oakley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute Radamel Oakley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Wahlnäs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Krister Uggstedt with Knut Rudberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 22ndth minute of the game Radamel Oakley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 24 minutes Skövde AIK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adrian Kodzhabashev who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Vincent Benett to score against Olov Wahlnäs in Skövde AIK's goal. 0-2 after 24 minutes. 29 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel Oakley came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes in the game Krister Uggstedt did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kevin Keegan. Olov Wahlnäs came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Surahammar's Radamel Oakley. But to his dismay, Radamel Oakley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a little luck, Surahammar's Jan Lindström got control of the ball when Kurt Hamrin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel Oakley came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel Oakley came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radamel Oakley in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Wahlnäs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Radamel Oakley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Olov Wahlnäs made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Keegan came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Kevin Keegan notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Surahammar's Jan Lindström. Jan Lindström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Surahammar made a substitution. Zlatan Lion replaced Toninho Lara. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Santxol got free with Olov Wahlnäs in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Santxol. Krister Uggstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Victor Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute, Surahammar's Victor Santxol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olov Wahlnäs. Olov Wahlnäs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Skövde AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Victor Santxol scored to the left of an out of position Olov Wahlnäs, making the score, 1-5. Surahammar's Jan Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Victor Santxol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olov Wahlnäs was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Victor Santxol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Wahlnäs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Surahammar were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Skövde AIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adrian Kodzhabashev took the corner. At last the ball reached Mark Brovall at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Skövde AIK. 1-6. The Skövde AIK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Surahammar's performance. The match ended with a win for Surahammar.
