Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ivan Drago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Lost Boys Sports Academy from getting a goal against them. Lars Sundström might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Drago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Sundström ran back to his position shaking his head. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ivan Drago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Sundström in the 18th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Erhard Esbo in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ove Boström. Lars Sundström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Drago came out and tried to block the shot, but Lars Sundström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 24th minute. Lars Sundström scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Drago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Drago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 31st minute of play. The corner ended in Yin Yun Fan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ivan Drago did a great save. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when Lost Boys Sports Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merih Demiral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredric Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ivan Drago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Lost Boys Sports Academy got a freekick which was hit by Merih Demiral. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredric Hybbert made a kick off. Pepe Argento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alaaddin Solskjær having to make a save. Pepe Argento's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alaaddin Solskjær firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 58 played minutes Lost Boys Sports Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Modig. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Hu Cheng was substituted for Marcelo Xabat. Lost Boys Sports Academy made a substitution. Coronel Llorente replaced Ludwig Modig. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Nils Hopp replaced Ubaldo Ritchie. After a rather tough play, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ludwig Modig got a free kick in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johan Sellberg in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alaaddin Solskjær prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Drago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Levander, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Johan Sellberg took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Alaaddin Solskjær to make any attempt to save it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
