Hector Hugo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toni Schumacher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes FC Bullen got a freekick which was hit by Tord Hökkvist. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Fredriksson in the 8th minute of play. A throw-in in the 10th minute of the game was made by Tord Hökkvist with Kurt Pååk as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 13 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toni Schumacher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alfred Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toni Schumacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Hugo in the 23rd minute of the match. Marius Neset hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Aurel Crivoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Pååk, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toni Schumacher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the FC Bullen defense, Hector Hugo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toni Schumacher. The FC Bullen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toni Schumacher should have stopped the shot. When Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toni Schumacher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Hector Hugo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toni Schumacher. FC Bullen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Hugo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Toni Schumacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Hugo in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Fredriksson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Bullen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marius Neset was slow to take the kick. During this time Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's players had a chance to rest. Aurel Crivoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Gudmundsson came free, but Aurel Crivoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Hugo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toni Schumacher having to make a save. In the 89th minute, Roger Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Paul Hermansson sped through FC Bullen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Toni Schumacher. When Bernt Offendahl came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Offendahl couldn't finish the play.
