Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel Oakley in the 2nd minute of the match. Jan Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes in the game Tage Glanselius did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hugo Eden. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radamel Oakley in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Ekrot saved Vykans Vikingar from getting behind. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radamel Oakley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radamel Oakley in the 29th minute of play. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel Oakley in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goalkeeper Jan Lindström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Eden. 32 minutes into the match, Radamel Oakley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radamel Oakley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jan Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mutumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Radamel Oakley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Osman kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Jan Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Trancoso came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radamel Oakley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. Surahammar's Folke Skröder was substituted for Vincent Benett. In the 59th minute Surahammar were awarded a corner. Adrian Kodzhabashev went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 62nd minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Lindström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Trancoso went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Tage Glanselius hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Victor Santxol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Tage Glanselius with Mats Hermansson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 77 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mutumba came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Ekrot was a little too slow when Victor Santxol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-4. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Abdi Revis replaced Hugo Eden. Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund was substituted for Martin Mutumba. After 94 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adrian Kodzhabashev who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Adrian Kodzhabashev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcus Ekrot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Markus Wallman hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Surahammar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
