Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Loco Durazno took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Durazno in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vince Di Cola saved Samurai from getting behind. In the 8th play minute Maxim Tsigalko came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anders Lundqvist. 1-0. Maxim Tsigalko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Samurai's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arne Tönnberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Lions FC's players had a chance to rest. 19 minutes into the game, Loco Durazno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vince Di Cola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vince Di Cola came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno. But to his dismay, Loco Durazno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 32 minutes into the game, Loco Durazno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Vince Di Cola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 34th minute of play. Vince Di Cola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Loco Durazno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vince Di Cola was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 42 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Mats Nyström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vince Di Cola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 45th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Di Cola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mats Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Maxim Tsigalko notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist. Anders Lundqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Nyström in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loco Durazno. 70 minutes into the match, Timmy Henriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anders Lundqvist. Golden Lions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timmy Henriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-6. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Cosme Larpe replaced Hazım Tuğlu. Samurai made a substitution. Hernán Grana replaced Ian Prutton. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno. Samurai's Wu Qi was substituted for Maxim Tsigalko. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Qi in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Bivall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Wu Qi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Wu Qi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anders Lundqvist. Golden Lions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wu Qi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Golden Lions FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
