After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maxim Tsigalko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Arvid Gallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Samurai booed when FC Zenit Saint Petersburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Gallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samurai's Vince Di Cola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Samurai from getting a goal against them. Maxim Tsigalko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Zafer Hürsel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samurai made a substitution. Esbjörn Hultstrand replaced Timmy Henriksson. In the 66th minute of the match, Valentin Ivarsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vince Di Cola saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 76th minute Alto Wing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zafer Hürsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Wu Qi made a precise shot to the right of Zafer Hürsel. FC Zenit Saint Petersburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
