The referee showed Cristiano Osman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Osman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Adrian Kodzhabashev got a free kick in the 55th minute. Vincent Benett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilhelm Galle having to make a save. Radamel Oakley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Galle made a huge save. Surahammar's Folke Skröder was substituted for Vincent Benett. Surahammar's Victor Santxol was substituted for Radamel Oakley. Surahammar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrian Kodzhabashev in the 61st minute. Surahammar's Adrian Kodzhabashev was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilhelm Galle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Wilhelm Galle as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jan Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Högman in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kind of Blue fans cheered their team off the field, for while Surahammar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
