Anıl Ozan Okkan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Lions Of Turks's goalkeeper Bülent Şemsifer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Sjöberg. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mithat Hirfanlı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Onsala Ass Kickers from getting a goal against them. If Edwin Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Björnberg's late challenge caught a Lions Of Turks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Björnberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lions Of Turks booed when Onsala Ass Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Björnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Onsala Ass Kickers! If Artaç Ünsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Onsala Ass Kickers's Hampus Ryberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ozan Bekdil, made in the 88th minute of the game. After having played for 92 minutes, Kåre Bruhn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Onsala Ass Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kåre Bruhn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes Lions Of Turks got a freekick which was hit by Nihat Candar. In the 95th minute of the match Axel Uggstedt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bülent Şemsifer skillfully saved the ball. The Lions Of Turks supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lions Of Turks would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
