They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Pere to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Echale FC's zone, Aaron Kvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Oalo came out of the goal and Aaron Kvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Isidro Oalo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Echale FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Mariano Aztore hit a great ball. Lennart Grubb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Oalo having to interfere. Leeds United FC played a much better game than Echale FC and deserved their victory. The Echale FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
