Rasmus Højlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Mark Schwarzer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Stojmen Tujković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Osmundo in the 23rd minute of play. Daniel Dahleb ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Te Moriste en Madrid were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Cucao to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Te Moriste en Madrid's Augusto Tiniebra got a free kick in the 50th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Te Moriste en Madrid would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
