The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Verissimo KFCH F.C. defense, Kader Gonet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dietbald Ströbele. The Verissimo KFCH F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dietbald Ströbele should have stopped the shot. Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s Dietbald Ströbele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Lägdin in the 12th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Kader Gonet notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s Dietbald Ströbele. Dietbald Ströbele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dietbald Ströbele showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dietbald Ströbele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lu Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Dietbald Ströbele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kader Gonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dietbald Ströbele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kader Gonet in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Jean Fernandez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ola Wall, 1-3. In the 41st match minute, Verissimo KFCH F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes, NIKE Academy's Oskar Lägdin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dietbald Ströbele came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NIKE Academy reached it. Dietbald Ströbele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kader Gonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ola Wall made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jean Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. When Kader Gonet came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the NIKE Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kader Gonet couldn't finish the play. The Verissimo KFCH F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NIKE Academy were winning 1-3.

After 52 played minutes Verissimo KFCH F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Furlan. Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s Dietbald Ströbele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kader Gonet in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in NIKE Academy's zone, Tiago Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ola Wall came out of the goal and Tiago Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christoforos Manousopoulos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dietbald Ströbele firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jean Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ola Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, NIKE Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Fernandez came free, but Ola Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s goalkeeper Dietbald Ströbele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoforos Manousopoulos. Ola Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Verissimo KFCH F.C. defense, Antonio-Ubaldo Conte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dietbald Ströbele. The Verissimo KFCH F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dietbald Ströbele should have stopped the shot. Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s Chuttur Forte was substituted for Anísio Furlan. If Chuttur Forte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dietbald Ströbele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oleg Mamaev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Verissimo KFCH F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. NIKE Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
