Atso Joenväärä's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rubio Mor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubio Mor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rubio Mor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stuart Legzdins in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Pipo Inzaghi came free, but Evaristo Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipo Inzaghi in the 18th minute of the match. Lupere FC - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Pipo Inzaghi scored to the left of an out of position Evaristo Neves, making the score, 1-1. Stuart Legzdins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rubio Mor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Legzdins in the 26th minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Rubio Mor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ornopata players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lupere FC - DMZ were winning 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stuart Legzdins was the one to do the kick off. Rubio Mor made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Alan das Neves sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ornopata's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atso Joenväärä was slow to take the kick. During this time Lupere FC - DMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal to a score. 1-3 in the 53rd minute. Evaristo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Loredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
