After 4 minutes CSD San Martin de Burzaco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Russ Howden who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Naelio in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Urtats saved CSD San Martin de Burzaco from getting behind. If Benedicto Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CSD San Martin de Burzaco's attentive Jorge Bermúdez managed to snatch the ball when Halim Talat made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, CSD San Martin de Burzaco's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Naelio came free, but Aristides Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Benedicto Naelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Urtats. After a defensive mix-up in CSD San Martin de Burzaco's zone, Grzegorz Soszka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Urtats came out of the goal and Grzegorz Soszka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dymarki Wejherowo's Cankut Wakabayashi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Chayo in the 29th minute of play. When Jorge Bermúdez fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSD San Martin de Burzaco's protests and gave Jorge Bermúdez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dymarki Wejherowo booed when CSD San Martin de Burzaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Bermúdez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristides Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Benedicto Naelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Urtats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Naelio ran back to his position shaking his head. Castel Guardo made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lars Bjurström however managed to control. CSD San Martin de Burzaco's Aristides Urtats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save CSD San Martin de Burzaco from getting a goal against them. Aristides Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Naelio in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Chayo to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Halim Talat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cankut Wakabayashi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Felipillo in the 58th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jorge Bermúdez in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dymarki Wejherowo's Grzegorz Soszka.
