After 12 minutes CSD San Martin de Burzaco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Qin Xiang Chuan who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CSD San Martin de Burzaco's goalie and right to Horia Lupu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CSD San Martin de Burzaco's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 18th minute Eustacio Felipillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Urtats came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Airborne FC's Casimiro Jatsu. But to his dismay, Casimiro Jatsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Airborne FC made a substitution. Sven Lind replaced Danilo Principe. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Jatsu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Urtats saved CSD San Martin de Burzaco from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Çeliker Pekgöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CSD San Martin de Burzaco's Aristides Urtats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save CSD San Martin de Burzaco from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Airborne FC's Casimiro Jatsu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aristides Urtats. That made the score 0-5 after 63 minutes of play. 70 minutes into the match, CSD San Martin de Burzaco's goalkeeper Aristides Urtats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Jatsu. Thanks to some nice moves Casimiro Jatsu could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Aristides Urtats however easily saved by the left post. In the 81st minute, Casimiro Jatsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Airborne FC's Cássio Chaves was substituted for Marcos Linares. In the 85th minute Airborne FC were awarded a corner. Qin Xiang Chuan went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Horia Lupu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aristides Urtats quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Casimiro Jatsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Aristides Urtats made a huge save. CSD San Martin de Burzaco's Aristides Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Jatsu in the 88th minute of play. CSD San Martin de Burzaco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Casimiro Jatsu scored to the left of an out of position Aristides Urtats, making the score, 1-6. After 94 played minutes Airborne FC got a freekick which was hit by Horia Lupu. When Casimiro Jatsu came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Airborne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Jatsu couldn't finish the play. The Airborne FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Airborne FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
