André Cruz was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Letal's players had a chance to rest. Gedeon Káposztás received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Murilo Paredes came out and tried to block the shot, but Gedeon Káposztás slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. If Gedeon Káposztás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Murilo Paredes made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gedeon Káposztás sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Papão de WC's Laércio Travassos got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match, André Cruz sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Andréas Linquist showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Andréas Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pong Kula in the 13th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Kléber Barral in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético Letal's Gino Terra. In the 17th minute, Selman Pektaşi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andréas Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio de Queirós in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Atlético Letal getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dráusio de Queirós hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Letal's zone, Gedeon Káposztás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Paredes came out of the goal and Gedeon Káposztás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Vides's late challenge caught a Grêmio Papão de WC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Vides helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Vides hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Luiz Paulo Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goal looked a bit too open when Bieito Cubas came free, but Andréas Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Gino Terra threw the ball into play from the sideline. Grêmio Papão de WC's Laércio Travassos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Gedeon Káposztás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Paredes was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Murilo Paredes made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Gedeon Káposztás sent off a good shot on target.

Atlético Letal's Tomás Goren was substituted for Pong Kula. The supporters of Grêmio Papão de WC booed when Atlético Letal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Letal's Murilo Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Gedeon Káposztás left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Papão de WC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
