The throw-in from Edgard de Lima in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sails Stitinum's Tytus Siembab. The supporters of S.C. Corinthians Paulista booed when Sails Stitinum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Siembab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sails Stitinum's Ahmet Necdet Has played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğuhan Alpaslan in the 15th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Andrzej Zuraw who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Sails Stitinum getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tytus Siembab hit a great ball. Tiburcio Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Sails Stitinum's Damian Sierocki tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ahmet Necdet Has showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Marques in the 27th minute of the match. Andrzej Zuraw struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fırat Aytekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sails Stitinum. In the 34thth minute of the game Andrzej Zuraw who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Andrzej Zuraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Zuraw came free, but Fırat Aytekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Andrzej Zuraw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sails Stitinum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrzej Zuraw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Dé Töpper was substituted for Dan Waller. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikolaj Chwalkiewicz made a kick off. Tiburcio Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Corinthians Paulista's Dé Töpper getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 59 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Fırat Aytekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Zuraw. After some careless play in the Sails Stitinum defense, Nildo Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Necdet Has. The Sails Stitinum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Necdet Has should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Sails Stitinum booed when S.C. In the 92nd match minute, Sails Stitinum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Necdet Has showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nildo Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sails Stitinum eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
