In the 8th minute of the match Colognese FC got a corner. PACIFIC FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ioan Cocârlă ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Colognese FC booed when PACIFIC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Ferreros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Casado in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Cocârlă in the 26th minute of play forced PACIFIC FC's goalkeeper Carlos Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Villalcazar came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfredinho Carneiro could save by the left post. Rolando Arzola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredinho Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Casado in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Casasola saved PACIFIC FC from getting behind. PACIFIC FC's Carlos Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Casado in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PACIFIC FC's Rodolfo Toraya got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Carlos Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ruben Casado might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Casasola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruben Casado ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Villalcazar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Christopher Bloom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Villalcazar in the 57th minute of play forced Colognese FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Ruben Casado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Casasola. Ruben Casado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. PACIFIC FC's Carlos Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Casado in the 69th minute of play. PACIFIC FC made a substitution. Anibal Serrano replaced Rodolfo Toraya. Colognese FC's Juninho Santos was substituted for Ruben Casado. In the 77th minute Colognese FC were awarded a corner. Ioan Cocârlă went to the cornerflag to take it. Carlos Casasola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Batista in the 80th minute. Carlos Casasola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juninho Santos in the 88th minute of play forced PACIFIC FC's goalkeeper Carlos Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes PACIFIC FC got a freekick which was hit by Aguirre Grandoso. In the 91st minute, Juninho Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colognese FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
