Uriel Ferrer might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wawrzyniec Charamut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Ferrer ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicanor Mateo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Placido Jenaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Bruno Sauveur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wawrzyniec Charamut was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some careless play in the De Boedo Vengo defense, Bruno Sauveur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Charamut. The De Boedo Vengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Charamut should have stopped the shot. Paul Ghearăs short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Gianluca Buffon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 46 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Sauveur. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Sauveur in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Gheară was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Raphael to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Lombroso's zone, Placido Jenaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluca Buffon came out of the goal and Placido Jenaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Sauveur scored 0-5 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wawrzyniec Charamut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Defensores de Lombroso's Valentín Barco was substituted for Federico Pirro. Bruno Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Sauveur in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wawrzyniec Charamut saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. The De Boedo Vengo fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when De Boedo Vengo's Paul Gheară looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Felipo in the 87th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Amadeo Raebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Defensores de Lombroso eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
