An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Bacete in the 44th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bernard Ochabski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurino Serena was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.
