An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lia in the 24th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Vadillos in the 29th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute A.D. Alcorcón were awarded a corner. Leroy Antunez went to the cornerflag to take it. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perico in the 46th minute of play. Nestor Cortez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolo Bacete in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Belo Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. In the 80thth minute of the game Pavao Zadro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Rios came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Manolo Bacete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
