But to his dismay, Vladimir do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 36 minutes into the game, one of Grêmio Santo André:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ladislav Telepovský had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Válbson Capixaba's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
