After taking down the ball on CAN ERZURUM's corner Sven-Olof Vestlund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ovidio Roland quite easily take care of the ball. In the 12th minute Lope Quijana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CAN ERZURUM defense, Meder Muños kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joar Scheie. The CAN ERZURUM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joar Scheie should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Şimşek in the 85th minute of play forced Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Sven-Olof Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's Meder Muños sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joar Scheie narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
