In the 13th minute, Richard Murunga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Markus Montano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 董响斐. That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. If Markus Montano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute, Sindri Sigdórsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poulton-Le-Fylde's David Ereng shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by 董响斐 but with some difficulty. 董响斐 made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Walery Czubski sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Åke Kjellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Matela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of REAL SUOMI CF booed when Poulton-Le-Fylde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atıf Keramettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Axel Majman might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Åke Kjellbom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Axel Majman ran back to his position shaking his head. Poulton-Le-Fylde's Sven-Åke Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Axel Majman in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Silveira in the 38th minute of play forced Poulton-Le-Fylde's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Kjellbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stewart Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poulton-Le-Fylde's protests and gave Stewart Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. Marek Matela kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 47 minutes of play, REAL SUOMI CF's Karl-Axel Majman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Åke Kjellbom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

董响斐 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myles Ongao in the 52nd minute of the match. 董响斐 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Czubski in the 57th minute of play. Fabinho Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom made a huge save. Börje Blom hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Walery Czubski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL SUOMI CF's 董响斐 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Marek Matela dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Åke Kjellbom, 1-3. 68 minutes into the match, Marek Matela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Åke Kjellbom. Poulton-Le-Fylde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marek Matela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 71st minute Markus Montano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 董响斐 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Montano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ereng in the 90th minute of play forced REAL SUOMI CF's goalkeeper 董响斐 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Montano took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 董响斐. 董响斐 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4.
