Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torgny Landin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julien Staffelbach to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Linköpings AIK defense, Torgny Landin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmy Olsson. The Linköpings AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmy Olsson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Nilsson in the 19th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Torgny Landin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 27 minutes, Julien Staffelbach made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimmy Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Landin in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Torgny Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Olsson came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin. But to his dismay, Torgny Landin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jens-Åke Källberg made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Julien Staffelbach sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Julien Staffelbach made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Boca Juniors were awarded a corner. Torgny Landin went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Landin in the 61st minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Linköpings AIK from getting a goal against them. Boca Juniors's Harry Hedling was substituted for Julian Beturian. In the 71st minute Linköpings AIK were awarded a corner. Nils Svensson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Linköpings AIK's Nils Svensson to fire away a dangerous shot which Jens-Åke Källberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson got control of the ball when Torgny Landin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Hedling came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jimmy Olsson could save by the left post. Boca Juniors's Harry Hedling was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jimmy Olsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jan Höijer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Jimmy Olsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julien Staffelbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Holger Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match, Harry Hedling got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jimmy Olsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

Boca Juniors's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
