The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ede Horváth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Dunixi in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Itzaina in the 4th minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnold Alexander-Arnold hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Félix Havas kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Sporting Savaria getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. László Sámuel hit a great ball. Ede Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Aztore in the 11th minute of the match. Ede Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 22nd minute Teo Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ede Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ede Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Dunixi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ede Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Dunixi came free, but Ede Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Chus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jakab Szigethy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Eusebio Cai made a huge save. Sporting Savaria's Ede Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Acuña in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sporting Savaria's Attila Kerékgyártó got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sporting Savaria's Ede Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Eron in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cura del Futbol's Nereo Aznar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ede Horváth. That made the score 0-2 after 60 minutes of play. After 67 played minutes Sporting Savaria got a freekick which was hit by László Sámuel. In the 70th minute, Alejo Itzaina made a precise shot to the right of Ede Horváth. Sporting Savaria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 73 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Chus. 76 minutes into the game, Nereo Aznar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ede Horváth. Nereo Aznar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After 83 played minutes Sporting Savaria got a freekick which was hit by Adrián Mesterházy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Dunixi in the 85th minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Dunixi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ede Horváth made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Aznar came free, but Ede Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ede Horváth didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Cura del Futbol played a much better game than Sporting Savaria and deserved their victory. The Sporting Savaria players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
