The crowd rose to their feet as PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Şerbănescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lázaro Jeraldo. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. After 21 played minutes Titanes Mayas got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Salvatore. In the 39th match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Istodor to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Calistrat Şerbănescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lázaro Jeraldo. Calistrat Şerbănescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Estavan to strike the kick off in the second half. Damian Cârlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calistrat Şerbănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Jeraldo having to interfere. Damian Cârlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lázaro Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Estavan in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Covrig saved PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Cârlan in the 64th minute of play forced Titanes Mayas's goalkeeper Lázaro Jeraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Damian Cârlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Jeraldo was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Damian Cârlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Cârlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Jeraldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Cârlan ran back to his position shaking his head. Titanes Mayas's Lázaro Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Şerbănescu in the 78th minute of play. Sebastian Istodor hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Damian Cârlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Jeraldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Teo Estavan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Vlad Covrig made a huge save. Damian Cârlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lázaro Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca had played much better football throughout.
