But to his dismay, Silvério Sabrosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Waclaw Zagrobelny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute of the match, Wlodzimierz Siwy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raimundo Delgado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 24th minute, Wlodzimierz Siwy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raimundo Delgado. The goal made the score 1-3. After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Patrício Poças kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kajetan Kossakowski. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kajetan Kossakowski should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Waclaw Zagrobelny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kajetan Kossakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Sabrosa in the 36th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Wlodzimierz Siwy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrício Poças got free with Kajetan Kossakowski in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Patrício Poças made a precise shot to the right of Kajetan Kossakowski. Newcastle United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Raimundo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Zagrobelny, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Kajetan Kossakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Sabrosa in the 70th minute of the match. Silvério Sabrosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
