Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ingmar Bergman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Baia was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 21 minutes Brugge United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wictor Tinglöv who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 28 minutes, Guido Vissenaeken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brugge United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Vissenaeken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laurențiu Roşculeţ kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Brugge United booed when 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Eguzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Guido Vissenaeken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brugge United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Waud Huijbrechts struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ago Vaasna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brugge United. Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wictor Tinglöv in the 92nd minute of play. Guido Vissenaeken scored 5-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ago Vaasna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
