An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Fransson in the 11th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Ariel Tximitx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Clemente Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Ahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glentown FC's goalkeeper Olov Ahlquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Ralf Fransson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Olov Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Barco in the 33rd minute of play. If Jonatan Aspvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Haritz. In the 46th minute, Jonatan Aspvik made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Tximitx. Abuba Akotonon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Glentown FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonatan Aspvik to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Fransson in the 52nd minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Ariel Tximitx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Ariel Tximitx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Aspvik. Jonatan Aspvik in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ariel Tximitx, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 57 minutes into the game, Valentín Barco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silvio Quinteros's late challenge caught a Glentown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Quinteros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Abuba Akotonon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Haritz to maneuver through the defense. Aarón Anselmino charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Ariel Tximitx got control of the ball when Jonatan Aspvik tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ralf Fransson got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Glentown FC. In the 80th match minute, Glentown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Aspvik to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Wästerberg came free, but Ariel Tximitx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Aspvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Tximitx having to interfere. Olov Ahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Herena in the 87th minute of the match. Jonatan Aspvik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ariel Tximitx made a huge save. Jonatan Aspvik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Tximitx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Glentown FC's Manuel Echeto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ambrosio Haritz in the 91 minute of the game. Abuba Akotonon FC's Ariel Tximitx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Abuba Akotonon FC from getting a goal against them. Jonatan Aspvik's late challenge caught a Abuba Akotonon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Aspvik helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Glentown FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Aspvik. After a defensive mix-up in Abuba Akotonon FC's zone, Krister Wästerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Tximitx came out of the goal and Krister Wästerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Glentown FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
