In the 23rd minute, Bogumil Erland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Real Madryt's Luisinho Koehler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucjan Gurgul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Lucjan Gurgul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Koehler in the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Real Madryt booed when lech poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Brak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th match minute, lech poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Erland to maneuver through the defense. Lucjan Gurgul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Zarobski in the 69th minute of play. Lucjan Gurgul was a little too slow when Luisinho Koehler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-10. Luisinho Koehler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucjan Gurgul came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisinho Koehler slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 81st minute. After 85 played minutes Luisinho Koehler rounded lech poznań's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-12. The Real Madryt fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Real Madryt's Luisinho Koehler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-13 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wincenty Zarobski struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Lucjan Gurgul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madryt. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Madryt walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
