The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Szymon Malewicki to strike the kick off in the second half. Valdór Orrason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lucjan Gurgul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdór Orrason kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Kristmundur Þorkelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Malik in the 58th minute of play. If Valdór Orrason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tytus Czajkowski during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Soffanías Emilsson got free with Lucjan Gurgul in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristmundur Þorkelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Malewicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, lech poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tytus Czajkowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Tadeusz Malik made a precise shot to the right of Kristmundur Þorkelsson. Flink Kópaskeri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Flink Kópaskeri's Kristmundur Þorkelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Malewicki in the 90th minute of play. After 92 minutes, Elbert Kjaransson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flink Kópaskeri and the lech poznań players grew even worse after the yellow card.
