When Adam Maruda came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cracovia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Maruda couldn't finish the play. The Flink Kópaskeri fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Flink Kópaskeri's Valdór Orrason looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 27th minute, Cracovia's Konrad Gecionis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After having played for 32 minutes, Konstanty Michalski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cracovia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstanty Michalski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristmundur Þorkelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Maruda in the 34th minute. After 39 played minutes Flink Kópaskeri got a freekick which was hit by Jochum Andrésson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Gniech in the 40th minute of play forced Flink Kópaskeri's goalkeeper Kristmundur Þorkelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristmundur Þorkelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Gniech, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Kristmundur Þorkelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Maruda in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnljótur Jafetsson during the 48th minute. When Valdór Orrason came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Flink Kópaskeri fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, Cracovia's Adam Maruda got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute Adam Maruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristmundur Þorkelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Gniech in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristmundur Þorkelsson saved Flink Kópaskeri from getting behind. Valdór Orrason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Michnik having to interfere. Jochum Andrésson's late challenge caught a Cracovia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jochum Andrésson helped the player get up and apologised. Jochum Andrésson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Edgar Gniech got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristmundur Þorkelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Gecionis, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Konrad Gecionis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cracovia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flink Kópaskeri the free kick. With a little luck, Cracovia's Dominik Michnik got control of the ball when Soffanías Emilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 played minutes Cracovia got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Kasperowicz.
