Önder İlbaşı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yvan Denys in the 53rd minute. Loui Sielis came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Beşiktaş Jimnastik Klubü's Nuratay Sidal. But to his dismay, Nuratay Sidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Yvan Denys came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Zoetwater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yvan Denys couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş Jimnastik Klubü's Asaf Beyhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loui Sielis narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
