Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Edgar Gniech managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cracovia's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Gniech was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Shlyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yaroslav Kotelyukh in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dominik Michnik, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Tymofiy Pryma put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Romny fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Cracovia a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Miromir Pietrowiak, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Romny's Artur Shlyk. 0-1. Edgar Gniech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konstanty Michalski struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Artur Shlyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cracovia. Dominik Michnik made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Yaroslav Kotelyukh sent off a good shot on target. Artur Shlyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Gniech, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Konstanty Michalski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cracovia and the Romny players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Romny booed when Cracovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstanty Michalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Yaroslav Kotelyukh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaroslav Kotelyukh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Yaroslav Kotelyukh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaroslav Kotelyukh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Cracovia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yaroslav Kotelyukh to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Artur Shlyk managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Cracovia's Adam Maruda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Konrad Gecionis kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Yevgen Shved's late challenge caught a Cracovia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yevgen Shved helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artem Kyrylenko during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dominik Michnik came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Romny's Stepan Ptashnyk. But to his dismay, Stepan Ptashnyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Edgar Gniech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artur Shlyk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Miromir Pietrowiak. A collision led to Cracovia getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Miromir Pietrowiak hit a great ball. Artur Shlyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Gniech's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Cracovia's goal looked a bit too open when Yaroslav Kotelyukh came free, but Dominik Michnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
