The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Maruda got free with Önder İlbaşı in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nuratay Sidal made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Cracovia got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Kasperowicz. Tacettin Tanır blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dominik Michnik having to make a save. Beşiktaş Jimnastik Klubü's Önder İlbaşı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstanty Michalski in the 55th minute of play. Beşiktaş Jimnastik Klubü were furious when Hikmet Bozdağ was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 77th minute, Mevlüt İzgi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dominik Michnik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selahaddin Ergüvenç in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Cracovia's Pankracy Naujasodis got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Deniz Cespan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Önder İlbaşı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Gecionis in the 89th minute of play. Selahaddin Ergüvenç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Michnik having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Tacettin Tanır got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
