Sanderlend's Sverker Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Bolshakov in the 19th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Sanderlend's Babbis Aggeliadis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikolay Kovalev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rostislav Averchenko during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sanderlend booed when STORM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. A collision led to Sanderlend getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Shi Yuan hit a great ball. In the 43rd match minute, Sanderlend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shi Yuan to maneuver through the defense. Roman Bolshakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Fanström having to interfere. If Andrey Buznikin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. STORM made a substitution. Maksim Khomukha replaced Leonid Sokolov. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Lavrentev to strike the kick off in the second half. Nikolay Kovalev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Aggeliadis in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Lavrentev in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sverker Fanström saved Sanderlend from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Babbis Aggeliadis in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikolay Kovalev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 minutes STORM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luo Jun Feng who took care of the corner kick. Luo Jun Feng made a great header on Sanderlend's corner, it was just that STORM's Nikolay Kovalev managed to reach the ball for a save. Sanderlend's Sverker Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Bolshakov in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Denis Lavrentev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sverker Fanström. The goal made the score 3-1. The Sanderlend support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
