Olavo Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jared Wolfman in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Godofredo Remigio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AC Milan's Gilles Eekhout. Gilles Eekhout was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute Tayyar Taner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilles Eekhout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilles Eekhout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Remigio, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Olavo Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Furkan Vargın in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jared Wolfman in the 40th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Olavo Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Godofredo Remigio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilles Eekhout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Jardel Head charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jardel Head the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Head. In the 96th minute, Valerios Papagiannakos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
