After 24 minutes KoLiber's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evripidis Picoulas who took care of the corner kick. Miromir Rydzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 韩默克, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, KoLiber's goalkeeper Miromir Rydzewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 韩默克. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Jandryca in the 29th minute of play. Miromir Rydzewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romário Barbosa in the 32nd minute. 39 minutes into the match, KoLiber's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Barbosa came free, but Miromir Rydzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when KoLiber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Jajko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evripidis Picoulas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miromir Rydzewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 韩默克, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 51 minutes, Romário Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Igor Jajko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Miromir Rydzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. KoLiber's Miromir Rydzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 韩默克 in the 56th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, KoLiber's goal looked a bit too open when 韩默克 came free, but Miromir Rydzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palestra do Interior's Fang Guang Bang was substituted for Jorginho Ferreira. Palestra do Interior's Niclas Danielsson was substituted for 韩默克. Evripidis Picoulas hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Miromir Rydzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Cruz in the 68th minute of play. KoLiber's Miromir Rydzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Lago in the 69th minute of play. Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ibrahim Nezirović in the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, KoLiber's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Lago came free, but Miromir Rydzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Prusek in the 84th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celsinho Vidal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitório Lago in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miromir Rydzewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ale Nesta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Allan Varela made a huge save. Vitório Lago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miromir Rydzewski having to make a save.
