The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cândido Cabral in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Trigo saved Barrenta SC from getting behind. In the 7th match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shi Xiong Yong to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Urban Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Gang Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugeniusz Sanocki took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Trigo. Edgar Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Sanocki came free, but Edgar Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrenta SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gusmão Benevides was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Fura Balizas's players had a chance to rest. In the 20th minute Eugeniusz Sanocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Trigo was a little too slow when Eugeniusz Sanocki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Tastzian in the 29th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Azeari struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Edgar Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fura Balizas. 33 minutes into the match, Nariman Mansourian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Long Gang Sen. FC Fura Balizas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nariman Mansourian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Barrenta SC were furious when Nuno Arruda was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Barrenta SC:s Edgar Trigo showed great skill when he stopped Eugeniusz Sanocki:s penalty. Eugeniusz Sanocki took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Trigo. Edgar Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 46th minute Urban Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Gang Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urban Stenman was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Mario Azeari shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Trigo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Urban Stenman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Long Gang Sen firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Edgar Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barrenta SC's Genílson Leite was substituted for Urban Stenman. In the 69th minute, Barrenta SC's Genílson Leite ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Long Gang Sen. Long Gang Sen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. FC Fura Balizas's Maurício Mansilha was substituted for Eugeniusz Sanocki. Genílson Leite hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Edgar Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Mansilha in the 76th minute of the match. FC Fura Balizas's Long Gang Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Lago in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match, Nariman Mansourian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Long Gang Sen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 82nd minute Maurício Mansilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Long Gang Sen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nariman Mansourian, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's Maurício Mansilha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Fura Balizas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barrenta SC for a fine match.
