In the 6thth minute of the game Gomez Periquet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lima FC's Bennett Donahue was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gomez Periquet in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bennett Donahue prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Hendrickx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lima FC the free kick. In the 8th match minute, ATC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Hendrickx to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gomez Periquet in the 14th minute of play forced Lima FC's goalkeeper Bennett Donahue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gomez Periquet had several of the Lima FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Bennett Donahue as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 21 played minutes Gomez Periquet rounded Lima FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. When Gomez Periquet came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the ATC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gomez Periquet couldn't finish the play. Black Pink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chase Wolfe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match Lima FC got a corner. ATC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rashad Rosen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rashad Rosen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ATC's Black Pink did a great save. Black Pink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Fritz in the 41st minute of the match. Bennett Donahue was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gomez Periquet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 44 minute of play. Gomez Periquet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lima FC's Bennett Donahue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gomez Periquet in the 47th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gomez Periquet was the one to do the kick off. Bennett Donahue didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ATC's Gomez Periquet shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 55th minute Daniel Triplett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Black Pink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Daniel Triplett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lima FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Triplett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gomez Periquet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bennett Donahue was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gomez Periquet in the 81st minute of play forced Lima FC's goalkeeper Bennett Donahue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Rick Stevens in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ATC's Loco Valdevielso. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gomez Periquet managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gomez Periquet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bennett Donahue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ATC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lima FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
