Stefan Poremba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Pereira having to interfere. Tiaguinho Pereira made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Stefan Poremba sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the game, Sérgio Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Zdzislaw Lewkowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiaguinho Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radowit Swoboda in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Padaka SA defense, Caco Vaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zdzislaw Lewkowicz. The Padaka SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zdzislaw Lewkowicz should have stopped the shot. Zdzislaw Lewkowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Vaz in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Ibura Dortmund's Caco Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zdzislaw Lewkowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Zdzislaw Lewkowicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sérgio Esteves went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After the first half Ibura Dortmund were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ibura Dortmund's Tiaguinho Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Sierocki in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Padaka SA's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Gaudino came free, but Zdzislaw Lewkowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Padaka SA got a freekick which was hit by Wit Karpinski. After 77 played minutes Ibura Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Falcão. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walery Sierocki during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
