FLAMENGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manoel Furlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Hélder Faria was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Ernst Skog capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernst Skog really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 10 played minutes FLAMENGO got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Munhoz. Manoel Furlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manoel Furlan ran back to his position shaking his head. When Manoel Furlan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 12 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hélder Faria was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Hélder Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Fridlund in the 14th minute of the match. Philip Hasselqvist scored 3-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélder Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manoel Furlan in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hélder Faria, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 26th minute Sixten Fridlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Fridlund in the 29th minute of play. Svennis Grabbar FF's Sixten Fridlund got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Philip Hasselqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hélder Faria. Philip Hasselqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Furlan in the 37th minute of play forced FLAMENGO's goalkeeper Hélder Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FLAMENGO getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nicolas Barros hit a great ball. Rune Falk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélder Faria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, FLAMENGO's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Skog came free, but Hélder Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manoel Furlan to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Svennis Grabbar FF's Ernst Skog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélder Faria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After 54 played minutes FLAMENGO got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Machado. Hélder Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Furlan in the 55th minute of the match. Hélder Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Falk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Rune Falk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hélder Faria was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FLAMENGO's Juninho Campidelis got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Manoel Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rune Falk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svennis Grabbar FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Falk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Amauri Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Ernst Skog had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélder Faria. The Svennis Grabbar FF fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Svennis Grabbar FF's Manoel Furlan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th match minute, FLAMENGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Netto to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FLAMENGO defense, Manoel Furlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Faria. The FLAMENGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Faria should have stopped the shot. Hélder Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FLAMENGO getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rony Netto hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Ernst Skog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélder Faria was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0.
Svennis Grabbar FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
