Călin Pamfil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Gomez Periquet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U Craiova's Nae Pavel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Horea Frumușanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Black Pink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nae Pavel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gomez Periquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Călin Pamfil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Black Pink was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Gomez Periquet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ATC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
