When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, José Ramos put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Attila Kerékgyártó. After some careless play in the Sporting Savaria defense, Daniil Valakopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attila Kerékgyártó. The Sporting Savaria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attila Kerékgyártó should have stopped the shot. With 24 minutes on the clock, Teuvo Latvanen commited a dangerous tackle.
