Cafu Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Edvaldo Prado got a free kick in the 35th minute. Rafa Pereira lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF:s Cafu Amaral showed great skill when he stopped Danilo Loyola:s penalty. With his leg Hugo Diniz managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's José Maria da Costa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
