Șerban Damian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niolaao Lobregon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Diómedes Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Hurmuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Șerban Damian came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the DINAMO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Șerban Damian couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Călin Feroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diómedes Rodriguez in the 57th minute of play. If Leonard Demian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horea Hurmuzache didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. 79 minutes into the game, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Diómedes Rodriguez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horea Hurmuzache made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. José Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Horea Hurmuzache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s José Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diómedes Rodriguez scored 0-5 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horea Hurmuzache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eugen Bobocea made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leonard Demian however managed to control. In the 96th minute, Zheko Kraychev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
